depending on what state you are in you may find that you’re in more of a metropolitan area or on the opposite end a more rural area which means more countryside and and green fields and long roads. So, depending on where you find yourself, don’t be surprised if you don’t see anybody up and down the streets because sometimes there aren’t even sidewalks for people to walk on. In the major cities there are usually public transportation services which could include but aren’t limited to subway systems in the large cities, bus systems, or even you can find a train system.

The most utilized form of transportation for Americans is in their own personal car. And you’ll find that Americans put a lot of time, effort, and money into making sure that their car is a true reflection of themselves. So as you come to America, realize that depending on where you find yourself, you may find a lot of people around you, but don’t be surprised if you’re in a more rural setting that people tend to drive to where they need to go and then drive home. Without seeing people, it can give the wrong impression that nobody’s around. People are normally around in the city center, but always look for the downtown area to have the most amount of walking walking people so that you can make sure that you meet new people and get acquainted.

  1. Thanks! When I came to the USA first time, I can not understood where are all people. In the beginning I thought that only my parents live in the village but another people maybe live in the towns, but then I visited a lot of my friends in the different towns in Michigan and everywhere was the same situation. Now, I like and prefer to live not in a big city.
